Student Admission and Graduation Requirements
Admission Requirements: The student who wants to enroll in the undergraduate program must complete the processes / exams determined by the YÖK within the framework of the academic and legal regulations of the university. A student who has started his education in an equivalent program in the country or abroad can apply for horizontal transfer. Acceptance of students is examined and evaluated individually before the beginning of the semester, taking into account the conditions of each student and the degree applied for.
Graduation Requirements: The total number of credits required to obtain a bachelor's degree must be taken from the undergraduate curriculum announced for 240 ECTS credits and these courses must be completed successfully.
Degree to be Obtained: The student who successfully completes his education is entitled to receive a bachelor's degree with the title of Turcologist.
Transition to the Upper Level: A student who successfully completes a four-year undergraduate education can apply to programs that give master's or doctorate degrees in the fields related to our department or in other branches of science that accept students from these fields.
