ALUMNI BOARD MEETING WAS HELD IN OUR DEPARTMENT

Department of Turkish Language and Literature organized an Alumni Board Meeting within the framework of accreditation and quality studies. On Wednesday, 19.04.2023 at 21.00, the meeting was held online remotely and was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Letters Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and Vice Head of the Department, faculty members and graduates of the department. In the program, which started in accordance with the agenda shared in the Alumni Board group, the graduates of different periods, who came together after years, briefly introduced themselves. Then, the Alumni Information System of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature was introduced with a screen sharing. It was emphasized that the Alumni Information System is extremely important for the department to keep track of its alumni and for alumni to connect with each other, and alumni were asked to register to the system. Another agenda of the Alumni Board was the determination of semester officers. After the semester supervisors were determined, the Course Plan of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature was shared and presented to the opinions and suggestions of the graduates. The opinions and suggestions that emerged during the meeting and in the Alumni Board Whatsapp group were recorded. It was stated that the suggestions will be put on the agenda and evaluated at the department meeting. In addition, the Alumni Board also discussed future plans and decided to organize an Alumni Board Meeting in May. The meeting, which lasted for more than two hours in a very friendly atmosphere, ended with valuable suggestions and wishes of the graduates.
